MLO Reflective Narrative
With all courses taken especially WLC 400, my language skills have improved in literature, history, linguistics and grammar. What I also probably most improved on this MLO was reading and writing and I hope to still work on listening and speaking . However what challenged me the most was understanding all aspects of the Spanish language. So, the best way I dealt with communicating in Spanish was doing my best and constantly learning and immersing myself with the language. Also the contribution of this MLO helped me study areas of literature even deeper through the works of Ruben Dario in Modernism and appreciating his inspiration from Greek Mythology. In regard to all this, Spanish is about listening, speaking, writing, and reading; so I wish to still improve myself in all areas so I can be fluent and communicate with other people locally and abroad. Even from non-Spanish related courses I was able to connect the dots to all classes because the main objective of learning a foriegn language is broadening your horizons .
