Narrative:
This course helps me serve the purpose of understanding linguistic though certain dialects in the target language, particularly between Spanish and English. A good example would be learning about idioms and slang such as "mind your own beeswax" in English and translating them into Spanish so the native speaker can clearly understand. Some of the work I completed in this learning atmosphere was to simply translate direct to indirect translations and understanding the syntax of Spanish and English. My knowledge really grew in idioms and slang of this course and wish to learn more about these words and phrases in the future of my Spanish language proficiency. This class truly relates to my Capstone course because I had to translate my final presentation from Spanish to English. How do you intend to further explore this learning experience? (NEXT STEPS) I hope to explore this more by meeting native speakers from all over the Spanish and English speaking spectrum in the world. I also want explore this area though localization in marketing a business to the local community.
Introduce a otros formas de traducción directa y indirecta. Con traducción directa es muy obvio mientras habla y escribe en la gramática correcta de lengua meta. Aunque para la indirecta, es muy complicado porque hay idiomas modismos, dialecto y expresiones de cada lengua. Por ejemplo; "La abeja no mete en otro colmena"-"Mind your bees wax/business". El contexto posiblemente suena diferente en español.
